Everybody wants to have a healthy lifestyle. People eat the right food. They go on a diet. They exercise regularly like jogging, running and going to the gym to lift weights or other activities that promote health. Though everybody wants to do these activities, some do not have the time to go to the gym. It could be because they have work to do or they just have busy schedules. Others, when they get extra time would rather stay at home to be with their family.

The simple basic home gym: This kind of gym is composed of only a weight bench and some free weights. A weight bench may be just a padded flat bench or could have multiple reclining positions so you can do a variety of workouts. A weight bench alone will cost you $50-$200. Depending on the number of weights and its style, weights will cost you about $15-$350.

The next level home gym: This kind of home gym features a weight bench which uses fixed weights and cables for muscle building workouts. These features enable you to have a variety of different workouts for better exercise experience. The prices for this kind of gym may range from $250-$1000. Other weight benches do not use cables and fixed weights but tension wires. These kinds have prices that range from $500 to $800.

The new type of home gym: These kind of gym is now very common because it takes lesser space. It has a feature that is called over-the-door system which takes little space but give the same amount of workout with other conventional gyms. The prices of these systems may range from $30 to $200.


There are many kinds of gym equipment you may choose from. It doesn’t really matter what you use to stay healthy. What matters is that you follow your exercise routine.
